Here I am in my apartment at UCLA. This is exactly what I wanted: an apartment experience. Somehow it doesn't seem as glorious as I had imagined. The reason why I'm writing this entry is because I'm just plain bored. You really have to be inspired to write a great entry, I believe.
On my way to work and on my way back from work and whenever I'm in my car, I listen to KOST 103.5, love songs on the coast. It is hands down the most cheesiest and sappiest thing you could ever listen to. And I love it. I guess I can't deny that I have this side of me. The other day a man called on the KOST lines and asked a song to be played for his wife. She is pregnant with their first child, and he said that she's craving chocolates. So, he's going to stock up on chocolates. How cute. And then Karen Sharp, the DJ, said that it's great to see that he's taking real good care of her. And he says "I'm taking care of her as if it's my own life." Now how sweet is that! I usually start barfing after someone expresses his/her feelings over the radio, but this time I thought it was genuinely sweet.
The song that he dedicated to her was "Have You Ever Really Loved a
Woman?" Wow, what a great song. It's my latest favorite.
