Moss Beach Distillary
- about 5-6 miles north of hmb - off of highway 1. i really enjoy the food & the view is great. they have an outside patio w/ lots of chairs/swinging benches (and blankets)!
- Not the best food, but pretty good; can’t beat the ambience. It overlooks Seal Cove. Get there for sunset if you can. No doubt your wife will enjoy it.

Café Gibraltar
Café Gibraltar is one of the best restaurants anywhere on the Peninsula. It is very reasonably priced, and with a fabulous selection of food, including a lot of vegetarian and seafood dishes, mostly local and organic produce, all around just one of my favorite places and a huge hit with everyone we’ve taken. It’s about 10 miles from Half Moon Bay on the coast in El Granada and an excuse for a drive over the hills all on its own.

It's Italia
It's Italia is called a "pizzaria" but they have terrific specials (fish, risotto, gnocchi). It's out favorite restuarant in HMB.
