Planet Auto
- I super strongly recommend Planet Auto on El Camino just south of the menlo park safeway. They are awesome. The owner is Alex, and the chief mechanic is Clay. They are personable, explain thnigs, and while a little pricey they honor their quotes. I have been going for years.
- I love Planet Auto Repair. They're right on El Camino next to Safeway.
Foreign Affair
- I've used Foreign Affair for the last 10 years on my 15 year old Integra. They've been really good to me. They always explain what they have done and what potential problems they see but never push me to get those problems fixed by them
- I have been going to Foreign Affair in Santa Clara for a few years now. I have never heard a bad thing about them, and my own experience has been great. They work on Hondas, Toyotas, Lexus (Lexii? :) ) and Acuras.
Precision Automotive
- I've had a very good history with Precision Automotive. I've found them to be honest, responsive, and reliable. They're in Palo Alto, just off El Camino and just south of Oregon Expressway.

Owned by a Deeply knowledgeable german expat who has been working on german autos for 30 years here in the bay area, and was a mechanic in germany before he movee here.

Autowerkstat
in San Jose is good. This place deals only with VWs and Audis. They were very good at explaining what replacement parts you need, pricing options, etc.
Bill Fimbres
Our family mechanic is great and always provides high quality service at VERY reasonable prices. He's not an Acura specialist, per se, but has worked on an Integra I used to own and on my father-in-law's Legend as well. My whole family -- mom, brother, in-laws, etc -- all use him. He is a 1-guy shop and only works 3 days/week so you have to schedule in advance. And since he's usually in the shop working, you'll need to leave a message, but he always calls you back.

A bit far for you from Sunnyvale but I use Kuno's (www.kunos.com), they are pretty good.

By far the #1 guy in the pennisula among the Honda/Acura crowd. Very fair, reasonable, and if you don't need something, he'll just say "no need to fix".

K&E Auto
Check out K&E Auto (right off of Capitol Expressway and King road – very close to 101 (408-274-4010)– they specialize in Honda’s/J– ask for Ed, he’s the “E” Toyota’s and they are really fair!
