Favorites so far have been the appointment--only reserve tastings and tours at Duckhorn and Chateau Montelena (real world-class, old-world-style wine).
Sterling (you can take a gondola to the winery- beautiful scenery)
V. Sittui- great place for lunch! You can have a picnic there
Niebaum Coppola- if you like The Godfather, there is the car from the Godfather and other cool memorabilia.
A classic first tour is also Mondavi, beautiful estate, and great tour, though it does tend to sell-out.
