Olema
Olema is beautiful in winter.
Tomales Bay
- Tomales Bay for wonderful oysters
- Tomales bay!
Point Reyes National Seashore
Great hiking in and around Point Reyes National Seashore and good eating to be found too.
Elk Cove Inn
If you're willing to drive a bit farther, I had an excellent time staying at the elk cove inn.
Manka's
- Check out Manka's up the road in Inverness for a splurgy delicious dinner with great ambiance or a delightful place to stay if you've got a generous budget...
- Mankas in Inverness is a great place to stay and/or eat--Small cabins up in the hills over the Tomales Bay.
Marshall
Have some bbq'ed oysters in Marshall (try Tony's...)
Pinetree
The Pinetree (or Pinecone?) Diner in Pt Reyes Station also has delicious food.
Rosemary Cottage
There are several nice B&Bs in Inverness -- I think I stayed at Rosemary Cottage a few years ago -- it was very pleasant and roomy (looks like it's changed hands since then...)
Bear Valley Inn
My friend Amanda has a B&B in Olema - The Bear Valley Inn, which is quite cute and very close to the Pt. Reyes Visitor's Center.
The Poet's Loft
I was just there, rented a house called "The Poet's Loft".
