Noise-cancelling Headphone Recommendations

Sennheiser PXC 250 - best reviews for reasonably priced set.

Etymotic - in-ear headphones, block all noise. 33-41db noise reduction.

Grado Labs headphones - Best in the world, hand down.

The SR-80 is an excellent buy, might be expensive compared to regular "Best Buy" type headphones, but worlds apart in terms of quality. The SR-60 is cheaper but not enough to warrant losing the sound dynamics, and the SR-125 isn't that much better to justify the price. So it's either SR-80 or SR-325 and higher, and now you're talking real money. I have a pair of SR-80s and they are really amazing even when run with my iTunes on the PC.

They are open-air design so you can hear people around you, and they can hear some of your music, but screw them, you're enjoying yourself!
