Underground Tour
Seattle is a wonderful place to visit with lots of things to do, but one of the most uniquely Seattle things you can aside from the Worlds Fair area/Space Needle and Pikes Place Market is the Underground Tour in downtown. It gives you an idea of the rich and unique history of the area in a fun informative tour, good for rainy weather as well as most of it is "indoors".
Powells
A whole city block 3 stories tall of books, it rocks.
Ballard
Cafe Campagne
Volterra
Hotwire Coffeehouse
Uwajimaya
If you go to Chinatown/"International District", remember to check out Uwajimaya.
Gas Works Park
Gas Works Park is a must! It's right across Lake Union to the North of Seattle downtown, you'll be able to take some beautiful pictures there.
Cherry Blossoms
If you're going in spring, then you can check out the cherry blossoms at U. of Washington.
Snoqualmie waterfall
Don't forget to visit the Snoqualmie waterfall. Should be great after a big rain.
