Church Music Is Incredible

I finally got around to listening to David Crowder Band’s latest album, Church Music. It’s incredible. It took me a while to get through it because the first third is just OK, but the rest is amazing. God Almighty, None Compares may be the single greatest Christian rock song ever recorded. After listening to the record I was exhausted, in a good way.

I’m surprised, because their last album wasn’t that great. But I’m stunned by this one. Not everything they try to do works, but they’re the only ones in Christian music even making the attempt. Rocks my face off.
