Danny ChaiOne of the dissenting opinions (Stevens?) kept saying how they were wrong in all they did, including taking the case. But since the Court ruled 7-2 that the Florida Supreme Court was wrong in how they ordered the recounts, it seems that they weren’t wrong in taking the case.
I don’t know, whether they should have taken the case to me doesn’t seem to be a matter of whether it belongs in the judicial realm at all, but whether the authority lied with the state courts or the federal courts.
