Danny ChaiI don’t see how you can get the point of Pleasantville and find it repetitive. The whole point is that society’s fear of all these different types of things is rooted in the same cause. A fear of change; a desire to keep things “pleasant”. How else do you make that point? But whatever, I’m tired of defending the movie. I like it, but no one else has to.
One of these days I’m going to actually figure out the exact ranking of my top 10 movies. I think there might be 7 movies in my top 5; 15 in my top 10. I think top 5 right now is Shawshank, It’s a Wonderful Life, Pleasantville, Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, and the Matrix. Titanic is probably #6. Not that anyone cares.
