Danny ChaiDave, the reason people were bringing up the most votes in history thing is because it is somewhat notable – the current record holder was Reagan, and that was 2 decades ago. That’s a really long time. So yeah, it’s not a huge deal, but I wouldn’t say they’re idiots either. Of course, those people probably aren’t mentioning the person in second place all time in terms of number of votes in an election: John F. Kerry.
