Hand Sanitizers A Danger To Kids

Usually when you get these email forwards warning you about the dangers of such and such they usually turn out to be myths. But I recently got a forward on a parenting list about the danger to kids from ingesting hand-sanitizers, and looking it up on snopes.com this one actually turned out to be true.

The gist is, hand sanitizers have an extremely high alcohol content, so when kids ingest even a little amount, it can lead to intoxication or even alcohol poisoning. Scary. So be careful.
